  1. Prepare a Personalised Timetable

Once you are well acquainted with the working of the exam and the topics or syllabus you need to prepare, it is time you devise a strategy. It is good to prepare your own timetable. With this, you will have the liberty to choose time for each topic at your own pace and work out a schedule that best suits you. However, it is necessary that one stays determined and sticks to it.

  1. Maintain Notes and Proper Study Materials

While you are preparing for such a vast syllabus, it is important that you make note of some important points or dates from that topic so it will be easy for further use and can act as a reference during revision time. Apart from the notes you make, access to proper study materials is also key. Use relevant Mizoram TET textbooks like NCERTs in your preparation process to ensure better study.

  1. Revise Well

While you are preparing for the test, you must revise notes to make sure you are understanding and remembering the topics. So, along with the core preparation, take a couple of days in the week to revise the same. This strengthens your recollection and grip over the subject and saves time in answering the questions during the exam.

  1. Take Mock Tests and Solve Previous Year Papers

After finishing a topic, make sure to check out sample questions and previous year’s question papers on the same subject and try solving them to evaluate how well you understand a topic. Apart from solving those papers, once you are done with at least half the syllabus, start appearing for mock tests. Taking mock tests will help you understand your preparation journey, help you manage your time well, and ultimately, give the final test with confidence.

Apart from these core preparation tips that impact your final score directly, some steps are equally important – like taking care of your mental health. Preparing for such competitive exams can drain one’s energy and can be overwhelming. Remember not to stress yourself out, take proper rest, eat healthily, and be confident in yourself.
