Examination Pattern of HP TET

The selection process for HP TET includes a written test with qualifying marks. These marks need to be within the predetermined range of minimum marks for qualification, which is 60%.

Eligibility Criteria for HP TET

There are two sets of eligibility criteria that you need to fulfill before applying for the HP TET exams. First is the age limit, and the other is the educational eligibility predefined by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.

Age Limit Criteria

  • For age criteria, there is no upper limit. You can apply for the HP TET exam as per educational qualifications.
  • However, the age limit will be defined by an appointing authority at the time of appointment as per recruitment guidelines.
  • Up to 5% age relaxation for reserved categories of SC/ST/OBC/PHH.
