A written exam is part of the UP TGT exam pattern. For the Siksha Mitra, the weighting of marks in the written test is different (Ad hoc teachers).

To be cleared for the final round, candidates must score more than the required TGT cut-off marks which may vary from 85 and above marks for all the sections. The position will be filled after the final merit list is released. Candidates must thoroughly comprehend the exam format to create a study strategy and determine time management.   • There are a total of 125 questions.
  • All of the questions are multiple-choice.
  • The exam will take 2 hours to complete.
  • The overall marks for the written test are 500, while the total marks for Siksha Mitra are 465, with 35 marks assigned to service weightage.
  • You will receive 4 points for each correctly answered question. The marks per question for Siksha Mitra are 3.72.
  • There are no points deducted for wrong responses.
