SAT Exam Full Form – Scholastic Assessment Test (formerly known as Scholastic Aptitude Test)

The SAT is a standardized test that is conducted by College Boards, and students applying for admission to undergraduate schools were the people who would benefit from taking this test. It was developed to assess the verbal, mathematics & written skills of the applicants. For candidates who are applying for the SAT exam, there aren’t any vlrst has not set any clear SAT eligibility rules. 

  • While there is no age restriction per se, studies have shown that candidates from the age group of 17-19 are among the highest to attend the SAT.
  • There is no limit to the number of times an applicant can take the SAT Exam. In India, it ie conducted 5 times a year.

  • Reasoning Test (SAT- I) -This is a three-hour MCQ exam used to test the reasoning ability of the student verbally and mathematically. The SAT-I score is required for most universities.
  • Subject Test (SAT-II) – This is also an MCQ test for one hour used to evaluate the knowledge of specific subjects and the ability to utilize that understanding.
