The Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE) is a nationwide examination for the selection of students to the various engineering institutions in India, including world-famous institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology, etc. All engineering aspirants of the country are expected to apply for and attend the JEE exam for a chance to get selected. However, JEE preparation takes a whole other level of dedication.
It may seem like a lot, but JEE preparation is just like any other exam preparation – it’s just that the stakes are much higher. Here are a few tips on how to prepare effectively for the JEE exam:
- Have a copy of the syllabus with you in printed form so that you can create a study plan and keep it ready when necessary.
- Stick to one book. Avoid reading so many books from so many sources – it simply intefees with your preparation.
- Working hard is such an old way of looking at it that it – working smart is the new thing on the block. A lot of JEE aspirants put in so much effort into their dreams that they do too much
- as a result.
- Solve previous years question papers and online mock tests.
Remember that this is just an exam and you can take it next year, so if you do not get into your favourite institution, do not be discouraged.
