IBPS PO

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The IBPS PO exam will be conducted by the IBPS to select candidates who are eligible for the role of Probationary Officer in different public sector banks in the country. IBPS PO exam is conducted annually each year and has been going on since 2011 and is now happening in 2022 in its 12th edition. 

IBPS provides its services to all the Public Sector Banks in India, SBI, RBI, LIC & Insurance companies, NABARD, SIDBI, and other Banks that are regular members of the IBPS society. IBPS began the Common Recruitment Process in 2011 for the recruitment of officers and clerks in Indian Banks and accepts online applications through its official website. IBPS PO exam is conducted at various locations all over India and it is conducted only in online mode. The IBPS PO Prelims Exam is scheduled for the 15th, 16th, and 22nd of October this year.

The eligibility criteria for the IBPS PO exam are the bare minimum –  a graduation degree (BA, B.Tech, BCom, BSc, or the sort) from any University recognized by the Government of India in any discipline. Any candidate who has received an equivalent qualification that is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible for applying for this exam.

The candidates need to be in possession of a valid Degree Certificate or Marksheet that certifies that they are a graduate on the day of registration for this exam and need to indicate the percentage of marks that they have obtained in Graduation as well.
