Exam Pattern of the CGTET Exam
The CGTET exam has an objective question paper format type. MCQ-type questions are asked. There is one correct choice from the four options given. There are no Negative marking criteria in the CGTET exam. The exam has two papers –
- Paper I – For Classes I to IV (For Lower Primary Level Teachers)
- Paper II – For Classes V to VIII (For Upper Primary level Teachers)
The time duration for the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes, i.e., 150 minutes for answering 150 questions.
