TOEFL is the acronym for “Test of English as a Foreign Language”. It is a well-known exam conducted to evaluate the students on their proficiency in the English language.

Education Testing Services (ETS) administers the TOEFL. The ETS prepares the question paper, conducts the exam, and issues the scorecards to the students who appeared for the exam preparation tips.

TOEFL is the best-suited exam to evaluate the American English of any candidate and is preferred if the candidate wants to study in Canada or the US. Whereas the IELTS is best suited for candidates seeking admission in Australia or the UK. There are a lot of coaching centers and online training institutes that help students crack this exam.

The exam is conducted more than 50 times a year. However, the candidate can only appear after a gap of twelve days from the previous attempt. The scores are mailed to the candidates. They can check their scores by visiting the TOEFL registration website. The scores attained are valid for the next two years only.
