Junior Research Fellowship

The Junior research Scholarship is awarded after passing a preliminary written test, interview, and presentation. The junior research fellowship grants an amount of up to INR 17,600 per month for a total period of two years. In addition, a contingency allowance, as well as other benefits, will also be provided. To be considered eligible, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited university for a doctorate in historical studies. Category reservations (ST/SC students) will apply by government standards and regulations. Postgraduate Diploma in Basic Science or Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Courses. The age limit for taking the eligibility test is 28 years old (the upper age limit is relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST applicants, physically disabled (PH), and applicants, 3 years old for OBC cases).
