How to Check CSIR NET Results

The CSIR Net is conducted by the National Testing Agency twice a year for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship. The National Testing Agency has the liberty to release CSIR NET Results after the Computer Based Test (CBT). CSIR test is conducted for five subjects in total – Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Physical Sciences. How to Check CSIR NET Results

Usually, CSIR NET Results are announced within the month after the exam is concluded. Every year a plethora of candidates compete twice a year for being appointed as Lecturers or Junior Research Fellowship. Every year an exam is held in the months of June and December. Step 1 – Hover to the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2 – Click on the Link “Results 2021.” The Result Page will open.

Step 3 – Next step is to enter your Roll No., DOB, and Captcha code.

Step 4-  Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 5- Soon after you click on the submit button, your results will get displayed on your screen. 

Step 6 – You can check your results and download them thereafter.

Way to Check CSIR Results 2021 If Forgot Application Number

If you have lost or forget your application number, you can follow the below-mentioned ways to recover your application number with ease –

  • Step 1 – Hover to the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in
  • Step 2 – After that, click on the UGC NET Result link
  • Step 3 – You will see an option – Forgot Application Number option; click on it
  • Step 4 – Fill in the details like Name of the Candidate, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
  • Step 5– Click on submit the details. 

However, it is pivotal to note that candidates can follow the steps once the Forgot Application Number link is activated.

Way To Download CSIR Result 2021

Once the results are announced, you can download the results by following these steps – 

Step 1 – Visit the official website –  csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2 – Click on the CSIR NET result 

Step 3 – Fill in your Application Number,’ ‘Date of Birth,’ and ‘Security Pin’

Step 4 – Click Submit 

Step 5- The results will be displayed on the right side of the screen will be the download option. Click on it and save it as A PDF for future reference. 

CSIR NET Cutoff 2021 After Results 

Once the results are announced, the National Testing Agency will release category-wise and subject-wise CSIR NET Cutoff on the official website. It is crucial that candidates have to clear cutoff marks to qualify for the exams with flying colors. You can even check the previous cutoff list to get a better understanding and clarity on the scores needed to beat the exam. 

Once the results are announced, NTA publishes the merit list that contains the name, roll number, and ranks of the candidates who have successfully passed the exam. In case you are not satisfied with the answer key, you can challenge the same by paying Rs. 1000 per question. The amount is refundable if the objection is proved.
