If found, what is that?, Definition : The Verbs which change their forms according to subject, its number, person and tense are known as Finite Verbs. They have subject. , On the contrary, the Verbs which can’t complete the meaning of sentences, do not change their forms according to subject, person or tense are Non-Finite Verbs.. Actually, they have no subject.

Kinds of Clauses:, Principal Subordinate Coordinate , The clause containing a subject and a Finite Verb is called Principal Clause. Eg: Returning home,, I found my mother ill. , The clause having a subject and a Finite Verb but is dependent on the principal clause is named a Subordinate clause. , When I returned home, I found my mother ill., The clauses connected with Coordinating conjunctions– and,,but, or etc. are regarded Coordinate clause. , I returned home and found my mother ill.
