COROMANDEL FISHERS, 1. The fishermen go out to the sea with the help of boats., 2. They'll know their track from the sea gull's call., 3. The fishermen feel that their work is risky and dangerous. Yet, they, fearlessly stick to their occupation on the firm belief that the sea god will, protect them from any harm or danger., 4. The poem describes the fishermen as kings of the sea because they are the, only regular workers who dare fierce storms and such like dangerous, incidents in the sea., 5. The fishermen should not delay so that they may miss the right opportunity, for catching fish., 6. They do not care even if they are tossed at the fall of the sun because they, firmly believe that the sea god will protect them in any case., 7. The place is the verge where the low sky mates with the sea., 8. The places they love are:, (1) Coconut glade, (ii) Scent of mango grove and, (ii) The sands on a full moon night near the roaring sea., 9. The sea is sweeter than land to the fishermen.
