Mr. Behrman knew that if the leaf, fell Johnsy would die, but if the leaf remained, Johnsy would change her, way of thinking. Mr.Behrman decided that it was time to paint his, masterpiece. He had gone out in the heavy rain and fierce wind and, painted the leaf on the wall after the last leaf had fallen. It never fluttered, or moved, but Johnsy could see it and it changed her life.
