Properties of air, Air is mixture of gases., It has mass and weight., Pressure of air is called atmospheric pressure., Atmospheric pressure is same in all the direction., If there is difference in air pressure at two different places ., Air starts flowing from higher pressure to lower pressure., Wind is effect of difference in air pressure.

Temperature regulation and transmission of sound, Temp.regulation: Earth receive energy from sun and reflected in the form of heat., Due to this earth surface remains warm so it is suitable for living organism., If there is no air on the earth then its temperature become very low., Transmission of sound: Air is medium of transmission of sound.

Properties of water, It is in liquid state., No shape but it has volume., Density of water is higher than ice., When water freeze it convert into ice so its volume increases., Density = mass÷volume

Anomalous behaviour of water, Generally when temperature of substance decreases its density increases and volume decreases except water., When temp.falls below 4 degree density of water decreases., That means desity of water higher at 4 degree temp., Water expand below 4 degree temp.
