In this poem James J.Kirk, the captain of starship USS Enterprise, sets a voyage to explore new worlds with his powerful crew where ‘no man has, gone before’., , He travels in the 23 century where a powerful alien probe appears, over the Earth, threatening it by evaporating the ocean, destroying the, atmosphere and emanating strange sounds towards the planet., , In their frantic attempt to save mankind, Kirk and his crew have to, go on time travel back to 1986 San Francisco where they find a world of punk,, pizza and exact — change buses that are alien to them., , They discover that the strange sounds are actually songs of, humpback whales which have been hunted to extinction. After identifying the, strange sounds, they time travel to 20" century to locate the whales and bring, back to 23 century on the Earth to respond the probe., , The whales communicate with the alien probe by singing saltwater, songs with a message to live long and prosper., , Hence the poet finally suggests the readers that we must change our, present life attitude and should have a co-existence with others and their, belongings.These things definitely will save our mother Earth., , , , “and for the salvation of Mother Earth, we must change to co-exist and belong.”
