Difference Between Drugs and Medicine, , The purpose of a Medicine is to prevent,, alleviate or cure a symptom, ailment or a, diseased state., , Medicines can be any external substance that is, administered to ease suffering., , The purpose of medicine is benign (not, harmful). It is a product produced and regulated, to have a positive impact on the patient., , A drug, in contrast to the medicine, can have a, positive or negative impact., , Both drugs and medicines can be poisonous., All medicines are drugs but all drugs are not, medicines.
