Let us learn more!, , RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES TO THE SOCIETY AND, LOCAL COMMUNITY, 1. Competition makes you learn, a lot of things and teach you also a lot of things. Entrepreneurs must be fair, in pricing and offer good customer service and quality products., 2. Save Local Environment from Pollution- If the factory of an employer emits, dangerous chemicals, the owner must not put up the business in a residential, area and establish a favorable distance from residential spaces., 3. Improve the standard of living- entrepreneurs are also encouraged to provide, help to the underprivileged group of people by offering scholarship programs,, family welfare, and others. Providing jobs to the local community also, improves the standard of living., , RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES TO THE ENVIRONMENT, Most of our raw materials are coming from the natural environment. Environment, naturally provides the materials that firms need in producing goods and services that, are being offered in businesses. Entrepreneurs must be environmentally responsible, because it is more than just a legal duty., 1. Compliance with the Environmental Legislations and Policies – As an, entrepreneur, you must consider the environment of the business you are, situated into. There are environmental rules and regulations that, entrepreneurs need to comply with such as emission of chemicals, waste, management system, sewerage system, storage and use of the hazardous, substance, and any threat to the environment, neighboring residences,, and businesses.

Also, it minimizes the risk of, unintentional violations., 3. Proper Disposal of Waste – To prevent pollution in land, air, and water, it, is necessary to take appropriate action in terms of the waste management, system. There must be periodic checking and maintenance on the toxic, waste and chemicals to prevent serious cases that might occur. If, applicable, reuse, reduce and recycle materials to minimize pollution., 4. Report Incidents- it is the entrepreneur's responsibility to report incidents, such as gas leaks, burst water mains, damage or danger to natural, resources like pollution of land, air, and water, domestic odors, and others, that cause or threaten the damage of the environment.
