10 Kannada Notes
Kannada is one of the oldest languages in India, pre-dating all the most spoken languages in the Indian subcontinent, namely Hindi and Bengali. Kannada is primarily spoken in the Indian state of Karnataka, where it is recognized as the official language. It is also spoken by linguistic minorities in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. However, outside of the state of Karnataka, not a lot of people speak this language. There may be a few Kannada speakers scattered across different states in the country as linguistic minorities, and there may be a few more littered across the globe in insignificantly small pockets, but they are hence mostly concentrated in the state of Karnataka. However, this does not mean that education in Kannada suffers because of this reason. There are a lot of schools across the state of Karnataka, especially Kannada-medium schools. In fact, as per data from 2011, the total number of Kannada medium schools in the state of Karnataka was a whopping 60,817. This number is gigantic when compared to the mere 9,874 English medium schools in the state. This just goes to show that the people of Karnataka value their language, culture, and heritage a lot. The people of Karnataka are very proud of their language and take great care in teaching their children the importance of their mother tongue. It is the speakers and learners of a language that keeps it alive, not anything else. It is currently the 8th most spoken language in India. Linguistic diversity is a very important factor in India’s richness, so it is essential that the Kannada people embrace their language. Kannada notes can be available for the students learning the language. There are websites where students can learn different languages and get all their notes available on those sites. There are sites from institutions where that provide study material online for students who are already enrolled in their Kannada courses. We at Teachmint have curated for you a repository of learning resources for all - especially our class 1 to class 10 Kannada notes. For struggling students, our class 10 Kannada notes can come in quite handy!
