Uttarakhand TET is conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education and it is further classified into two levels, Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates that clear Paper-I become eligible to teach classes I-V and candidates who clear Paper-II after Paper-I become eligible to teach classes V-VIII.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test varies based on the category an individual is applying for. They are bound to meet one of the criteria to become eligible to appear for this test.
How to apply?
Candidates fulfilling the required criteria can apply for UTET by going to the official website ubse.uk.gov.in. A sum of INR 600 is charged from the General category for appearing in Paper-I and INR 1000 for appearing in Paper -I and II while SC/ST/Ph have to pay INR 300 for Paper-I and INR 500 for Paper – I and II, which is collected via an online gateway. After the application is accepted and processed an Admit Card is generated which enables an individual to sit for the UTET examination. Admit cards are then downloaded at the online portal itself. After applying for the examination an individual has to undergo two rounds wherein round 1 comprises a written test and round is a personal interview.
