TN TET – Scope

The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) administers the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET). Candidates who pass this test will be considered for teaching positions in Tamil Nadu’s primary and upper primary schools. TNTET has two papers: Paper 1 (for grades I–V) and Paper 2 (for grades VI-VIII).

Understand and digitize school operations with Teachmint and its features like the homework app for efficient school management.

The eligibility criteria and syllabus for the two papers are different. The TNTET certificate of marks is given to all successful candidates in this TET, and the exam scores are valid for seven years. Candidates will then be able to apply to various schools in Tamil Nadu.

Candidates must check whether they are qualified to apply for TNTET 2021 while filling out the application form to avoid rejection at a later stage. As per their eligibility, candidates can apply for TNTET 2021 Paper I, Paper II, or both.
