What is CGTET?

The Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CGTET) is a state-level competitive mandatory minimum qualification examination conducted yearly by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB), Raipur.

The CGTET examination is conducted to recruit eligible candidates as teachers in all the private and government schools in Chhattisgarh.

The CGTET examination is divided into two main essential papers: 

  • Paper I for Teaching Primary Classes (I-V)
  • Paper-II for Upper Primary Classes (VI-VII)
