What is PTET?

PTET is known as Pre Teacher EligibilityTest. It is an exam that is conducted in Rajasthan. This exam checks the eligibility of the candidates who want to appear for B.Ed exams. Rajasthan PTET Eligibility

The criteria which shall be fulfilled by the candidates in order to appear in the Rajasthan PTET exam are as follows:

#. In order to be eligible for B.ed courses through Rajasthan PTET, he or she must have cleared the graduation with at least 50 percent marks.

#. Also, the ones who are interested in taking admission in BA B.Ed courses or B.Sc B.Ed courses must have cleared the class 12th exams with a minimum of 50 percent marks. 

Admission Process of Rajasthan PTET

The admission process of Rajasthan PTET includes the following steps:

Step 1: Fill the PTET application form

The first step without which you will not be able to appear for the exam no matter how much you have scored in the qualifying exams is candidates need to fill the PTET application form on the official website of the exam. Candidates also need to pay a PTET application fee of Rs 500 in online mode.

Step 2: Download PTET admit card

Next, candidates can download their Rajasthan Pre Teacher Eligibility Test admit card from the official website of the exam as per the prescribed schedule. The admit card for the PTET exam contains important details such as exam date, address, test center, time, etc.

Step 3: Give PTET exam

Candidates need to appear for the PTET exam as per the date and time mentioned on the admit card you have downloaded from the official website. The PTET exam contains 200 objective-type questions of 600 marks. The duration of the exam is three hours.

Step 4: Check PTET exam result

Candidates can check the Rajasthan PTET exam result on the official website of the exam. Candidates can check their results by using details such as roll number, name, mother’s name, and DOB.

Step 5: Appear for PTET counseling

Lastly, all qualifying candidates need to appear for the Rajasthan PTET Counselling round. In PTET counseling, candidates are allotted seats in their respective courses as per the ranks obtained by them and according to the seats available.
