What is PLC? What is the full form of PLC? What are advantages of being a part of PLC?
The full form of PLC is one of the most asked questions on the internet. The full form of PLC is Professional learning community. A professional learning community can be known as a group or batch of teachers/educators who meet & connect on a regular basis, share expertise, and collaborate to improve teaching abilities and student academic performance. As they say “Two people can look at the same thing and see it differently”, same is the case with two different teachers. They can have different teaching experiences, learnings, methodologies, and strategies by being in the same profession. Sharing different experiences and learnings with each other will not only make the teachers’ knowledge more diverse, but it will also help them in having a better understanding about their students. Understanding student needs (emotional, mental, or physical) is extremely important for the teachers and being a part of Professional learning community will surely help the teachers in doing so. By being a member of Professional learning community, teachers can also take time to time feedbacks from the other members and figure out their area of improvement.
