PhD Entrance Exam
Ph.D., a doctorate degree that is regarded as a strong qualification and offers the most solid work options. It is the most prestigious degree not only in India, but also in other countries. Over the last few years, the number of people seeking Ph.D. programs in India has surged dramatically. Every year, a large number of people apply for Ph.D. admissions in India via several entrance tests. PhD entrance exam is considered as one of the most difficult entrance exams in the country. These exams not only need good preparation strategies to clear the exam, but they also need dedication and perseverance to prepare for the exams. A few major entrance exams for PhD are-
1- CSIR NET is a national-level exam that is conducted by the NTA or National Testing Agency. The goal is the selection of candidates for awarding the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and the determination of the eligibility for the appointment of candidates as lecturers.
2- The National Eligibility Test, often known as the UGC NET or NTA-UGC-NET, is an examination used to determine eligibility for assistant professorships and Junior Research Fellowship grants in Indian colleges and universities. The National Testing Agency is in charge of the exam for the University Grants Commission. It is regarded as one of India’s most difficult tests, with only a 6% success rate.
