The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), originally known as the DOEACC Society, is a non-profit organisation that provides instruction in information technology and electronics at various levels. It is linked to the Indian government’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. It functions as a self-governing Statutory Organization under the Indian government. It has the same authority as other organizations such as CBSE, UGC, and others. There are numerous computer institutions connected with NIELIT that offer classes in the computer/IT educational industry throughout India. The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Exam, abbreviated as NIELIT Exam, is held on an annual basis throughout India, or as the apex body determines, for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses known as Non-Formal Courses – O Level, A-Level, B-Level, and C-Level. In January and July of each year, the NIELIT exam is held. Candidates for this exam should have completed a recognized board’s 12th grade for bachelor’s degree courses and a bachelor’s degree for postgraduate degree courses.
