However, it does not have to be limited to informal learning. It is best defined as voluntary and aimed toward reaching personal contentment.  Lifelong learning may help us reach personal fulfillment and pleasure, whether we are following personal hobbies and passions or professional goals.

During the outbreak, there was a high demand for online courses, as well as a strong desire to learn new skills and try something new. There is certainly a clear demand for adults of all ages to engage in learning and develop new skills. Also, these days people who are already working are showing interest in continuing education in order to develop their skillsets. This allows them to get a promotion and be ahead of others.

Lifelong learning benefits us by renewing our self-motivation by inspiring us to do things we want to accomplish, which leads to the advancement of personal interests and the achievement of our goals. Increasing our knowledge or expertise in something can boost our self-esteem in both our personal and professional lives.
