Lecture Method of Teaching
The lecture method of teaching is widely accepted as the most widely employed teaching method in academic institutions of all levels. In layman’s words, this is the process through which trainers convey knowledge to learners in the form of lesson plans and academic ideas in the classroom. They employ a wide range of teaching-learning resources and instructional methodologies. When using these, several things must be considered, including student grade levels, courses and concepts, student needs and requirements, academic goals, and the general educational system. When it comes to preparing lectures, instructors must be well-equipped. One of the most significant things is that they should be able to clear up any doubts and offer solutions to the students’ inquiries. The lecture technique has both pros and cons. The benefits should be emphasised, while the drawbacks should be minimised. As a result, when teachers use the lecture technique at all levels of education, they must ensure that students have a thorough knowledge of the topics. The primary themes considered in this research study are the components needed in arranging a lecture, the talents required to develop the lecture method, and the advantages and disadvantages of the lecture method of teaching.
