The Rhodes Scholarship pays for the recipient’s tuition, travel expenses (two economy class tickets), health insurance, and living expenses while in the United Kingdom. In addition, recipients get a monthly stipend.

The Rhodes Scholarship is the world’s oldest (first awarded in 1902) and possibly most prestigious international scholarship programme, allowing exceptional young people from all over the world to study at the University of Oxford.

To pass through this scholarship one has to ace it academically along with having required work experience. It is tough to get this scholarship as there is too much competition around the world for it.

Cecil John Rhodes, the organization’s founder, aimed to promote unity among English-speaking countries and instill civic-minded leadership and moral fortitude in future leaders, regardless of their chosen job routes.  Originally only limited to male students from Commonwealth countries, Germany, and the United States, the scholarship is now open to applicants of all backgrounds and genders from all around the world.
