National Scholarship Portal

The digital portal which allows candidates to apply for over 40 scholarships is the national scholarship portal. It is offered by central as well as state governments. Through the Simplified, Mission-Oriented, Accountable and Transparency (SMART) system, scholarships are transferred directly to the recipient’s bank account, ensuring a quick and transparent process. Students can only apply to the NSP if the educational institution where they are studying is registered on the portal. If it is not already registered, then they can contact their institute to begin the registration process.
