DBL is Design Based Learning. DBL is a learning strategy in which students apply their theoretical knowledge to create something innovative or students apply it in real-life situations. This learning strategy is generally related to disciplines like architecture, engineering, and computer science. DBL helps students to unleash their creative abilities and improve their skills.
This methodology ensures the active participation of students as they are encouraged to unleash their skills. It also makes sure that students the students are understanding the concepts thoroughly as they are creating something based on the knowledge acquired. DBL inspires students to be aware of their surroundings and think broadly and come up with creative ideas. This learning strategy allows students to explore their creative capabilities to the fullest.
DBL also allows students to critically analyze various scenarios and come up with better ideas to surpass the difficulties and find appropriate solutions for the difficulties that may arise. This help students improve their critical thinking skills.
