HTET Vacancy

The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is an eligibility test for candidates interested in teaching. The Board of Secondary Education in Haryana (BSEH) conducts the HTET every year. HTET is organized for teacher recruitment across several levels in Haryana State Government schools, including Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). Once you pass the written test, you will obtain a TET certificate. The validity of this certificate holds up to 7 years. The modification was made as a result of a recent state government reform. After receiving the HTET certificate, candidates can apply for BSEH jobs. 

It is designed to evaluate applicants’ aptitude and capacity to tackle the ever-increasing demands of teaching at the secondary, elementary, and secondary levels. Those interested in teaching in Haryana’s public schools must take the HTET 2021 test. 

Selection Process for HTET 2021

The steps of the HTET selection procedure are as follows: 

HTET form online application: Candidates interested in taking the HTET must apply online. There are various levels of the exam that one can choose from, which would be best suited for their qualifications.

HTET admit card: One week before the test, the HTET admit card will be published. Level 1, 2, and 3 admit cards will be published individually on the HTET exam’s official website.

Written HTET exam: There will be three papers in the HTET written exam: Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III. Paper I is for primary teachers, Paper II is for Trained Graduate Teachers, and Paper III is for Post Graduate Teachers.

Eligibility for HTET Vacancy 2021

The eligibility criteria required for HTET application 2021 are detailed out below.

Educational background:

  • Primary Teacher (Level 1 – Classes 1–5): 12th-grade diploma in elementary education is required (D.EI.Ed)
  • Graduate Teacher (Level 2 – Classes 6 through 8): Post Graduate Teacher (Level 3 – Above Class 8) with a Bachelor’s Degree and a B.Ed: B.Ed. and a Master’s Degree
  • The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 38 to apply for HTET Vacancy 2021. 

Level 1 (PRT – Primary Teacher for Class I – V)

Question Types and Standards –

It just contains one sheet of paper. The questions asked in the exam are usually of the objective pattern. There will be 150 multiple-choice questions. The exam will take two and a half hours to complete. The test can be taken both in English and Hindi as per the comfort of the applicant. 

Level 2 (TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher for Class VI to VIII: )

Question Types and Standards –

Candidates taking the Level II test will only have to take one paper. The test will consist of objective-style questions and will last two and a half hours. Each question is worth one point.

Level 3 (Post Graduate Teacher – PGT for higher classes)

Question Types and Standards –

This category will feature one examination for candidates taking the Level III exam. The test mainly involves questions of the objective type (MCQs) and will last two and a half hours. Each question is worth one point. There are 150 questions in all.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus for HTET Vacancy 

The test will be conducted using pen and paper. Multiple Choice Questions will be included in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (MCQs). Each question is worth one point. Candidates will be presented with four options from which to pick. ‘There will be no negative grading in the event of an incorrect response.’ Take a look at the HTET form for the test pattern for the year 2021 in detail. Application process – HTET Vacancy

The Haryana Board of School Education will accept online applications for the HTET 2021 test. One must go through the Information Bulletin of HTET-2021 before proceeding with the application. To submit the HTET form online, they must go to the HTET authorized website. You can access the HTET website and go through the process. The application process for the HTET 2021 will consist of four steps: 

(1) accessing the application form, 

(2) uploading scanned images, 

(3) paying the fee, and 

(4) viewing the confirmation page.
