Grades are a teacher’s evaluation of how a student performs. A grade is often a letter or number. Grades help students to know how much they know the concepts. When they can understand how they are performing based on grades they can know what they need to do better and work on improving. The letter grade also easily helps parents know how their child is doing, as they are accustomed to this grading system. Generally, the grading system is the process by which teachers evaluate the performance of the pupils in exams on the standard particular scales which is based on the points entirely and consist of the grades like A-F or range like 1-10; generally, letters and numbers are used to describe the grades of the scholars. Grades, including evaluations by teachers, standardized test scores, and exam results, can affect student behavior like grades give students feedback on how well they understand a subject, and students may increase their effort if they do not understand the material as well thought. Students should not be depressed if their grade is low.
They should be motivated to improve their concepts. Parents and teachers should also understand that if a student gets a low grade they need the motivation to improve rather than giving punishments.
