  4. Perform Chest Compressions: Place the heel of one hand on the center of the victim’s chest (between the nipples) and the other hand on top of the first.   5. Give Rescue Breaths: Give two rescue breaths after performing 30 chest compressions. Tilt the victim’s head, lift the chin, and cover their mouth with yours, creating an airtight seal. Deliver a breath that causes the chest to rise visibly.
  6. Continue Cycles: Alternate between chest compressions and rescue breaths until professional medical help arrives or the victim shows signs of recovery.

Remember, CPR should only be performed if you are trained and certified. If untrained, providing hands-only CPR (chest compressions without rescue breaths) can still be effective until professional help arrives.
