Common Entrance Exam for Design, commonly referred to by its abbreviation CEED, is a design entrance exam that is conducted by IIT Bombay in order to offer admission to the aspirants in M.Des courses and Ph.D. programs. The CEED exam is conducted at the national level every year annually in a total of 24 cities across the country. The CEED exam 2023 will consist of two papers – Part A and Part B. Part A will be a computer-based Aptitude & Maths test while Part B will be a paper-based test with questions based on drawing. The students who qualify can apply for admission to the institutes that host the exam and other institutes where possible. It is a great way for professional skill development.

In the year 2019, 5491 candidates appeared for the exam, with 1179 candidates having qualified. In 2018, the number of students who appeared was 5,507 students out of which 1,003 students qualified. The CEED 2023 admit card will be released in the second week of January 2023 on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card with the last date to raise changes against any discrepancy in the CEED 2023 hall ticket being the second week of January 2023. It is compulsory to carry the CEED exam admit card and a valid ID card to the test centers for verification purposes.
