A Smart School, , — Sanjana Parekh, Student Reporter, Shikshanand High School, Mumbai, 29" September, 2019, , Shikshanand High School celebrated its Annual Day, Function on the 21° of September, 2019. Students, teachers, and management members had come together to put up a, spectacular show to celebrate its ‘Silver Jubilee’, Anniversary. The function comprised of many entertaining, performances, but one performance brilliantly stood out, from the rest., , A play, titled “Smart School’. It was put together by the, students of Class X-A and captured the attention of everyone, in the audience. The play opened with a boy, named Vikas, waiting for his school bus. This boy had a bracelet on his, hand, which tracked all his health statistics, the number of

iarati, , , , , , , , steps he took as well as the path that his bus would take to, reach the school. Once the school bus arrived to pick up, Vikas, he synced his bracelet to the wireless machine inside, the bus. This bracelet tracked his journey and displayed it on, an electronic tablet, which his parents could access. On his, arrival in school, his vital stats were measured, his attendance, was marked and the information of his classes was synced to, his bracelet. The day progressed with Vikas visiting a Smart, Laboratory with a bio-farm in it and a Smart Canteen where, his food intake was analysed and he was served food in, accordance to his health requirements., , “My favourite part in the play was the entry of Vikas into, the classrooms with automatic temperature regulators,, individual desktops and a projector with state-of-the-art, technology”, were the words of an enthralled member of the, audience. The play was truly futuristic in nature and entertained, everyone in the audience. It was a perfect ode to the progressive, philosophy of Shikshanand High School.

The same stage and halls Naresh, once cleaned were decorated to felicitate his daughter who, has secured 96% in her class XII exams., , As Meenakshi stepped onto the stage the entire school, applauded her for her astounding feat.
