Il. Write a paragraph on a War Memorial., , A war memorial is a building, a monument, a, statue or any other structure. It is built either, to honour warriors or celebrate a victory. War, memorials are also constructed in towns and, villages to hold Memorial Day Service to pay, homage to the local warriors. They are not, built to glorify war, but to honour the soldiers, who fought for their countries., , War memorials are of different types. Some, memorials are built to honour the brave, soldiers who sacrificed their lives in a war, for, example, First World War. Whereas, there are, others which are built to condemn war, for, instance the tombs in France with the figures, of grieving widows and their children or, columns with names of dead soldiers with, inscriptions that disapprove of war.
