BAMS full form is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. It is a bachelor-level course where candidates explore the concept of Modern Medical Science as well as traditional medicine. BAMS full form which is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is a very good course. As there are changes in the medical field<\/a>, many people are switching toward Homeopathic or Ayurvedic medicine. Any candidate having the BAMS degree is eligible to be called a doctor and is eligible to practice privately. The course duration for the BAMS course is for 5 years and the minimum academic requirement for this degree is a class 12 degree with subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology. Exams that are accepted for this NEET<\/a>, OJEE, PUCET, IPU, CET, KEAM, etc. The BAMS course does not offer any specializations. This course also includes a year of internship just like any other medical degree. The fee structure for BAMS colleges depends on whether the colleges are public or private. The job opportunities under the BAMS course are – Physician, teacher, manager, clinical research associate<\/a>, drug manufacturer, health supervisor or therapist, and medical supervisor. Other employment opportunities after BAMS are Resident Medical Officer, Category Manager, Medical Representative, Business Development Officer, Ayurvedic doctor, Jr. Clinical Trial Coordinator, etc. Placement opportunities after BAMS are – Government Hospitals, Private Hospitals, Ayurvedic Clinics, Wellness Centres, Private practices, etc. The syllabus for BAMS consists of Modern Anatomy, Physiology, Principles of Medicine, Social and Preventive Medicine, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Forensic Medicine, Botany, ENT, and Principles of Surgery.
