The program aims to tap the talent pools of scientists and entrepreneurs. It facilitates and encourages the engagement of people from science and business backgrounds with students.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Understand and digitize school operations with Teachmint and its features like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teachmint.com\/features\/attendance-management-system\">attendance management system<\/a> for efficient school management.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of GIAN is to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Augment the country\u2019s existing academic resources<\/li><li>Accelerate the pace of quality reform<\/li><li>Make advancements in the technological and scientific capacity of India<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are allowed to interact and share their views with industry experts from all over the globe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objectives of GIAN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objectives of this program are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>To encourage renowned international personalities to visit Indian institutes and interact with students.<\/li><li>To provide opportunities to Indian faculty to interact with renowned international personalities and share their knowledge and teaching skills with them.<\/li><li>To provide opportunity to Indian students to seek knowledge and guidance from international faculty.<\/li><li>To create avenues for possible collaborations with international faculty.<\/li><li>To increase participation and presence of international students in the academic institutes.<\/li><li>To create a collaborative learning process for students and help them exchange ideas with overseas students.<\/li><li>Motivate industry experts to work on the problems prevalent in India.<\/li><li>Develop quality <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.teachmint.com\/study-materials\/\">course materials<\/a> in niche areas to be used by a large pool of students.<\/li><li>To document and develop new pedagogical methods in emerging topics of national and international interest.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Member institutes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The member institutes for GIAN are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"http:https:\/\/www.teachmint.com\/glossary\/d\/delhi-university-fees\/\">University of Delhi<\/a><\/li><li>Assam University<\/li><li>Tezpur University<\/li><li>Mizoram University<\/li><li>Nagaland University<\/li><li>University of Allahabad<\/li><li>Tripura University<\/li><li>Aligarh Muslim University<\/li><li>Banaras Hindu University<\/li><li>Jawaharlal Nehru University<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Know more about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teachmint.com\">LMS portal<\/a> and how it can help in seamless school operations management.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GIAN (Global Initiative of Academic Networks) is a program approved by the Government of India.
