What is NET Exam<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and it is conducted twice in a year. NET is also known as the NET exam or UGC NET. The NET exam or NET is a national level exam and it is held by the University Grant Commission commonly known by its acronym UGC. The UGC or University Grant Commission conducts this exam to recruit professionals for the post of assistant professor. However, the exam is conducted by NTA-National Testing Agency on the behalf of the University Grant Commission. 1- In the exam, a uniform marking scheme is used, which means that for both Paper 1  and Paper 2, each correct answer will get you two points. In short, the candidates can secure two marks for each correct answer they give. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2-There is no negative marking for the wrong answers in the UGC NET exam’s<\/a> revised exam design. There will be no deduction in marks if the candidates fail to answer the questions correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3- Therefore, it is advised to the candidates that rather than skipping a question, they should apply a calculated guess and indicate the correct answer. There is a high probability that the candidates will secure good marks in the exam.
