Teaching <\/a>is considered one of the noblest jobs in the world. It is one of the most valued professions as it helps shape the minds of students. Like most professions, teaching, particularly for primary or secondary classes, has its own degree requirement. B.Ed, <\/strong>short for Bachelor in Education, is an undergraduate course that people pursue a career in teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B.Ed is a two-year course that the NCTE has made compulsory for all teaching aspirants. No further degree is mandatory for someone to land a teaching job in India. Candidates can pursue B.Ed <\/strong>through distance learning and in-class teaching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Human Resource Ministry, the teaching sector generates around three lakh teaching vacancies per year. Needless to say, the future of teaching jobs is bright.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

B.Ed syllabus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The B.Ed syllabus is designed in a way that helps candidates to not only complete the school syllabus but also to understand the aptitude of students they are teaching. The curriculum is constantly changing and improving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The B.Ed course is divided into four semesters. Each semester is six months long. NCERT curates the curriculum, according to guidelines in NCTE 2014. The B.Ed syllabus is updated frequently to prepare candidates for the changing syllabi of schools and colleges. There are different specializations in this course. For example, a person can specialize in Biology, Maths, Hindi, or any other subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each semester covers 8 to 9 subjects, ranging from children\u2019s growth, field trip activities, school exposure, Indian history, specialized subjects, and much more. Candidates will have to understand each subject thoroughly. However, the subjects curated have only one objective: Making a candidate ready for real-life challenges. B.Ed and B.Ed also help candidates develop soft skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
