REET Job Profile

  • All Level I teachers are supposed to teach a multitude of subjects to students of classes I to V.
  • For all Level II educators, the classes allotted are VI to VIII.
  • Planning classes in accordance with the information provided by the state board is also an important task that teachers will have to perform.
  • Furthermore, teachers are supposed to follow the set curriculum in their classes.
  • While teaching their classes, teachers are expected to help all students who are not as academically strong.
  • All teachers should ensure they are completing the syllabus well in time and are also clarifying students’ doubts and questions consistently.
  • Teachers are also supposed to set up regular meetings with parents to discuss the performance of their child and the path for improvement.

REET Vacancies

In 2021, the Rajasthan Board has announced about 31,000 vacancies for Grade III teachers. The competition for obtaining a seat will be challenging, but not impossible to succeed at. To qualify the REET with good scores, an aspirant should follow a proper study regimen while making sure to stay calm and healthy, both mentally and physically.

Conclusion

Clearing the REET is a highly rewarding achievement for many reasons, and one of them is a lucrative salary with additional allowances. All teachers will start out a probation period with a basic REET salary, but the ones who get through this period will move on to enjoy a much higher salary with various incentives.

To advance to a higher pay scale in the REET salary, it is important for teachers to get promoted through the grades. Teachers get promoted based on their performance and move from Grade III to Grade II and then Grade II to Grade I. With promotion to a higher grade, the salary also increases by a good margin for REET qualified teachers.
