REET and RTET

The REET exam was previously called RTET, which stands for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test. This exam consisted of two steps. But by administering REET, the then government shortened the selection procedure by eliminating the last step of the process.

Read the evaluation methodologies and outcomes. Also, read everything about the Teachers’ Eligibility Test.

When RTET was first introduced in 2011, the validity of its score/certificate was for seven years, but with REET, it changed to three years. It means a candidate can apply to all the teaching post vacancies under the Rajasthan Government for three years after qualifying REET.
