  • Senior Secondary School certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent;
  • Pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE as per the guidelines framed by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education);
  • Possesses a Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or a Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.);
  • Should not possess B.Ed or Special B.Ed;
  • Ability to teach in Hindi and English.

PRT Exam Syllabus

  • Part 1: This section comprises 120 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. It includes Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability, and Teaching Methodology.
  • Part 2: This section entails 20 questions in the English and Hindi segments.

  • Basic Pay: 35400
  • DA (9% on Basic): 3186
  • HRA (24% On Basic) : 8496
  • Transport Allowance: 3600
  • DA On TA (9% On TA: 324
  • Gross Pay: 51006

  • NPS: 3859
