Candidates for Trained Graduate Teacher positions in UPSESSB must conform to nationality requirements. You must be an Indian citizen for applying to this position

  1.  Education Qualifications

An applicant should have a graduate degree in a related subject, a B.Ed/BTC, or any equivalent teacher training certificate.

Exam Pattern for UP TGT 

  • The UP Teacher Recruitment exam will be an objective test.
  • It comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • The exam duration is two hours.
  • The Exam comprises a total of 125 questions.
  • This exam has 500 maximum marks (for Shiksha Mitra, it is 465).
  • Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • No negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • Those who have chosen a specific subject will be asked questions only about that subject.

The Cut-off for UP TGT

UPSESSB will release the cut-off list for different posts of UPSESSB UP Teachers on the official website. A cut-off point will be released before the UPSESSB UP TGT Result is announced. After the cut-off marks for each category and post have been released, candidates can check them. To avoid any confusion, candidates can follow the below instructions to download the cut-off list from the official website.

Step 1: Go to the UPSESSB website.

Step 2: Click on the new link stating UPSESSB UP TGT Cut Off 2020 under the live advertisement section on the left-hand side of the page.

Step 3: Click the link to the post you wish to read.

Step 4: A printout of the cut-off pdf will be displayed.

Step 5: Look up the cut-off marks of your post and your category.

Answer key for the UP TGT 

Following the examination, the board will release the UPSESSB UP TGT answer key on its official website. The committee will release the answer key for the written exam which is an objective type test. Candidates can estimate their scores by referring to the answer key.

What’s the Formula for Calculating the Marks in the UP TGT Exam?

Candidates can quickly assess and calculate their approximate marks with the help of the UP TGT Answer Key.   • No negative marking for incorrect answers.

The Selection Process For UP TGTs 

The process of selection of candidates for UP TGT is executed in two major stages:
