Teaching Exam

A teaching exam is a skill test conducted by the state and national government of education to hire only skilled teachers in both central and state schools and universities. As the demand for teachers is rising in the market, more teaching exams are introduced to motivate more candidates to appear and choose teaching as a profession.

Only eligible candidates can appear in these teaching examinations. The eligibility criteria of a  candidate include that he/she must have passed B.Ed with a minimum percentage of 50. For recruiting teachers in government schools of different states, teacher eligibility tests are conducted to test their skills and capabilities.

On the other hand, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted to test eligible candidates who wish to teach in the schools that come under the central government of India.

The National Eligibility Test (NET), also known as University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, is a teaching exam conducted for recruiting assistant professors and junior research fellowships for Indian colleges and universities.

To be a state-level teacher, one needs to clear teaching exams like State Eligibility Test (SET). The CSIR UGC NET gets commonly conducted to test candidates who wish to join as a lecturer or a professor in the recommended universities and colleges for various subjects.
