Remote Teaching

Remote teaching is an online teaching method that includes teaching via technology such as a classroom management app, video conferencing software, other educational videos, etc. Remote teaching is similar to the online teaching method but has a slight difference. The online teaching method is a flexible teaching way that is carefully planned, instructed, and designed to provide education via the internet. Simultaneously, remote teaching aims to give reliable alternate access to education to the students.

Online learning aims to support all kinds of learners, and the video is generally pre-recorded so that the students can access it anytime from anywhere in the world. This teaching is mainly designed for those students who can not access offline classes for whatever their personal reasons or if they live in restricted places where the school education is disrupted by conflict. It can also be for those students who live in the middle of an emergency crisis. Due to the safety issues, the schools are temporarily closed.

For example, due to the threat of novel coronavirus in the year 2020, to help prevent the spread of the virus, all the schools and universities worldwide have decided to discontinue the face-to-face classes. The schools had to temporarily move to remote teaching methods via online classes until they were safe from a public health emergency.

In case of restricted places, remote teaching is of great significance where students are not allowed to go to schools but can have access to education with remote facilities.
