What is Pre Bed

Pre BEd Exam in Chhattisgarh Entrance is a state-level exam for applicants interested in pursuing a professional teaching program. This exam is held by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board for admission to various B.Ed. degrees offered by various universities across the state. Eligibility Criteria

1- Applicants who are citizens of India are welcome to apply.
2- Foreign applicants are not permitted to apply.
3- Candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks as specified by the NCTE in their graduation or post-graduate studies are also eligible to apply. There will be a 5% mark relaxation for reserved category candidates (SC/ST).
4- A candidate’s age must be under 20 years old to be considered. The age will be determined as of December 31st of the examination year.

Frequently asked questions about pre b.ed exam 

The pre b.ed form is out for the year 2024. All the students who are willing to appear the exam must fill the form by March, 2024.

Question 1. What is the eligibility criteria for pre b.ed exam?

Answer- Candidates who are willing to attempt for pre b.ed exam must have completed their 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board with 50% minimum marks. Candidates who are from the general category must score at least 45% in any stream in their graduation or post-graduation degree examination.

Answer- The candidate must be at least 20 years old to apply for the pre b.ed exam.

Answer- The pre b.ed entrance exam of this year i.e 2024 will be conducted on June 2, 2024, in the offline mode.

Question 4. What are the minimum passing marks for the pre b.ed entrance exam?

Answer- The passing percentage for general and reserved categories varies. Candidates who belong to the general category are required to score at least 65% in order to pass the exam, whereas the cutoff for OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PwD candidates are 60%, 50%, 50%, 60% and 45% respectively.

Answer- The CG pre b.ed exam is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examinations Board every year. The CPEB is in charge of preparing the exam pattern, eligibility criteria, results, releasing of pre b.ed form, etc of the pre b.ed exam.
