MSBSHSE

MSBSHSE stands for Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education. It is an autonomous body that was established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965. As the name suggests, it takes care of important examinations like HSC and SSC in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri.

From the formation of important rules and regulations regarding the education sector to the execution of exams, everything comes under the purview of MSBSHSE. The board also takes care of the creation of textbooks according to the requirements, it overviews the syllabus that is assigned and likewise. In a nutshell, it controls the A to Z of all functions related to the education sector.

The importance of the education sector cannot be stressed enough. From the development of the nation to individual development, education plays a pivotal role and it is crucial to ensure that the functioning is smooth and efficient. The MSBSHSE ensures the same. As mentioned, the board takes care of everything from choosing who should set the exam paper to which colleges the major exams would be conducted at. The SSC exams also come under the purview of the education board.
