Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. ~William Wordsworth

These lines are amazingly true when talking about poets. There is something about the poets that makes them unique in the world full of people. They not only enlighten people through their words, but they also give a totally new perspective to things in a way not imagined. When talking about poets, the Malayalam poets can not be forgotten. Beautiful poets like Kamala Das or known by her other names like Kamala Surayya, Madhavikutty is one of the famous Malayalam poets. She started writing from a very young age. Most of her poems surround her personal experiences, trauma, and her journey of upliftment. In her poems she talks how men treat the bodies of women as mere objects. She also talks about many social and political issues while she writes.
