Disaggregated Data

Disaggregate means to divide anything into its parts. Data is the raw facts and figures. Disaggregated data is dividing the facts and figures into various parts. This data can be grouped into three categories like gender, region, and ethnicity.

Understand and digitize school operations with Teachmint and its features like the admission management system for efficient school management.

This data helps to know the inequalities between the divided sub-categories that an aggregated data cannot explain. Numerical data is the most disaggregated one. There are different other categories for disaggregated data.

This data can be collected through a variety of sources or by using multiple measures. We can also use aggregated data and then divide it into smaller units to make it disaggregated data. The data helps to understand the trends, insights, or patterns across an entire population and various population groups.

Let us take an example of such digital education data. Usually, it is numerical data, but it can be non-numerical data too. Mostly, a survey takes place on a particular topic. The information collected is then aggregated into a report. The report card shows what the three groups feel and think about the issue. The information collected is then disaggregated to know the perception differences between students, educators, and parents. It can help to reach a certain conclusion or result.
